Marketing and Communications Manager, 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

RAAFA WA has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team on a 12-month, fixed-term contract. This pivotal role will see you lead an established team of professionals and work closely with our Chief Customer & Community Officer to spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing, communication, and public relations strategies to enhance the company's image and reputation.

Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve business objectives.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the industry.
* Analyse consumer trends, market conditions, and competitor data to identify opportunities for growth.
* Enhance and maintain the company's brand identity across all marketing and communication channels.
* Develop and implement strategies to position the company as a leader in the industry.
* Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing materials and platforms.
* Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
* Analyse digital marketing data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and optimise strategies accordingly.
* Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists and influencers.
* Create and distribute press releases and other media communications to enhance the company's public image.
* Respond to media inquiries and coordinate media activity – directly and via a Public Relations agency.
* Develop internal communication strategies to keep employees, volunteers, residents and members informed about company initiatives, goals and achievements, fostering a positive and informed company culture.
* Plan and coordinate marketing events, product/service launches, trade shows and conferences.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful event execution.
* Ensure that the CRM is effectively leveraged.
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Marketing and Communications or equivalent qualification.
* Demonstrated experience in a Marketing and Communication Manager role.
* Strong leadership skills with experience working with cross‐functional teams.
* Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools.
