We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join a high-performing QLD Service Team, supporting customers across the Mackay region and surrounding areas.
This role is essential in ensuring vital healthcare equipment keeps people with mobility challenges safe, mobile, and supported.

About the Role
As a Service Technician, you will take ownership of servicing a wide range of medical and patient-handling equipment. Your role will include:
* Performing maintenance, repairs and testing across a broad equipment portfolio
* Delivering both preventative servicing and reactive breakdown support
* Providing exceptional service to customers in aged care and acute care environments
* Promoting service plans and contracts to customers across the region
* Identifying and supporting new business opportunities locally
* Completing accurate service documentation and compliant reporting
* Managing spare parts stock and maintaining inventory accuracy
* Ensuring safety, compliance and product integrity at all times
* Travelling within the wider QLD region to support customer needs

What You'll Bring
We are looking for a service professional who is technically capable, customer-focused and proactive. You will bring:
- Previous field service experience, ideally in healthcare or a service-driven industry
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- A proven commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet KPIs and service targets
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a close-knit team
- Competence using hand tools, power tools and test/inspection equipment
- Confidence using tablets/iPads and digital reporting systems
- Professional presentation, excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- A current QLD Class C Driver's Licence
