About the Role
The Reservations Supervisor is the central communication hub of the resort, acting as the first point of contact for guest phone and digital enquiries. This role ensures seamless service across all guest requests—from restaurant bookings and room reservations to housekeeping and room service coordination. The supervisor embodies the resort's vision of creating extraordinary experiences and its purpose of making each day better for guests, colleagues, and the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the resort's communication hub and ensure guest enquiries are handled quickly and professionally.
* Manage shift handovers, staffing schedules and departmental coordination to deliver seamless service.
* Coach and develop team members while promoting upselling opportunities to maximise revenue.
* Oversee audit balances, guest arrival preparation and compliance with hotel standards.
Skills & Experience
* Demonstrates excellent customer service and communication with fluency in English and additional languages as an advantage.
* Brings at least one year of hospitality or customer service experience with proven ability to manage staff and operations.
* Applies strong organisational and problem solving skills to prioritise tasks and deliver in fast paced environments.
* Provides effective leadership through coaching, mentoring and motivating team members to achieve departmental goals.
* Holds RSA certification and a full NSW driver's licence while maintaining professional grooming and presentation standards.
* Proficient in hotel systems including Opera, Infrasys, Concerto, ESCAP and Medallia with confidence in audit and arrival procedures.
