A regional council in Central NSW is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant for a contract role commencing in February and concluding in September 2026.

This position will provide high-level administrative and executive support to a busy Director in a dynamic and demanding environment. The successful candidate will be required to step in confidently, manage competing priorities and ensure the Director's time is effectively coordinated and protected.

Key responsibilities include:
* Providing executive-level administrative support to the Director
* Managing complex diaries, appointments and scheduling priorities
* Acting as a gatekeeper and first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
* Preparing correspondence, reports and meeting documentation
* Coordinating meetings and supporting day-to-day operational administration
* Liaising with senior leadership, operational staff, government departments and members of the public

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong senior administration experience, excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to work autonomously. Confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation is essential.

Local Government experience is desirable but not mandatory. Proven executive or senior administrative capability is the critical requirement.
