We’re looking for a Mechanical Technician/Diesel Fitter based in Townsville, servicing the QLD area..

What You’ll Do
* Respond to major mechanical component failure escalations.
* Carry out regular servicing, major component changes and repairs in the depot and field.
* Carry out advanced troubleshooting of diesel engines.
* Implementation of field campaigns as required.
* Ensure the completion of major repairs are on time, to standard and within agreed budgets for both specific repairs and overall department budgets.
* Occasional overnight service runs.
You’ll Have The Following Skills And Experience
* Proven experience as Diesel Fitter.
* Qualified Mechanic with Australian mechanic’s license.
* Australian Driver’s License.
* Forklift License an Advantage.
* MR Truck License Advantage.
* Computer literate.
