We are seeking a team leader with strong program and project management skills to oversee delivery of asset maintenance and capital works programs across national parks and forests in South East Queensland. About You
To be successful in the role, you will have:
strong leadership, collaboration and engagement skills, particularly an ability to lead and support teams to plan and deliver funded, region-wide programs. strong project and program management and organisational skills, including experience in planning and implementing asset and financial management policy and procedures. problem solving skills, initiative, self-motivation and a drive for continuous program improvement. high level negotiation and communication skills to ensure the efficient delivery of asset-related programs, in partnership with operational staff, across a large geographic area. high level writing, communication, systems management and reporting skills; and a strong understanding or workplace, health and safety policy and procedure.
About The Role
The position is part of the SEQ Region's Technical Support team—a group of innovative, multi-disciplinary, park management experts and knowledge brokers—who propel the Region forward through planning, strategy and support.
The unit leads key programs, including providing a ‘bridge' between statewide funded programs and on-ground operations. The position will help drive consistency across the Region's asset programs—including how we prioritise effort, utilise systems & frameworks, and uphold our legislation & policy.
