My client is a large product and service organisation and are currently looking for a Credit Manager to join their team. This role would suit someone who has a minimum of 2+ years' experience running a small team of Accounts Receivable Officers.
You will be responsible for a small team of credit officers, helping them grow by mentoring them to achieve their targets. The person that they are looking for will be responsible for the entire credit function.
The Credit Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the collection policies, practices and procedures to the credit requirements of customer accounts
**The Role**
- Lead and develop a small team of Credit Officers
- Prepare reports for management
- Responsible for the risk assessment of new and existing accounts
- Maintain cash flows through efficient collection
- Implement policies and procedures that are consistent with Credit Policy
- Develop effective relationships throughout the business and with customers
- Implement, suggest and support improvements and efficiency in the business with strategic objectives
- Experience using ERP systems in a high volume environment with strong excel
- Strong leadership, mentoring and training skills
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Credit Manager
- Pro-active in continuous improvement and analytical in mindset
- Solid communication skills to influence outcomes
- Excellent problem solving skills
