Step into a role where your clinical expertise makes a difference. As a Principal House Officer / Registrar at Dalby, you'll join a close-knit, multidisciplinary rural generalist team delivering high-quality care across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings. This is more than a job—it's a chance to grow your skills, contribute to a regional community, and work alongside passionate professionals in a supportive environment. With regular teaching, mentorship from experienced Senior Medical Officers, and a strong focus on professional development, you'll thrive both personally and professionally in this dynamic rural setting.
What Your Day Will Look Like
You'll move fluidly between diverse clinical responsibilities—reviewing patients in the emergency department, managing inpatient care, and consulting on outpatient cases. You'll collaborate closely with nurses, allied health professionals, and visiting specialists, ensuring patients receive holistic, coordinated care. Whether you're leading ward rounds, contributing to clinical meetings, or mentoring junior staff, your input will be valued and impactful. You'll also have the chance to engage in quality improvement initiatives, participate in weekly teaching sessions, and maintain strong connections with local GPs to support seamless patient transitions. Every day brings variety, challenge, and the reward of knowing your work matters.
