Primary objective
Provide general administrative support with respect to financial processing, reception duties, a quality, cost effective
purchasing and procurement support to the Territory Wildlife Park and other administrative tasks as required.

Key duties and responsibilities
1. Undertake general financial processing for the Park including processing invoices, credit card transactions and raising

invoices among others.
2. Liaise and provide advice to suppliers and clients (internal and external) on procurement, contractual and financial

transaction matters.
3. Ensure procurement and supply of goods and services for the Park are undertaken in a timely and cost-effective

manner, and in accordance with NT Government legislation and associated policies and processes.
4. Undertake reception duties and other administrative tasks as required in an office environment.

Selection criteria
Essential
1. Experience in general office administration, with emphasis on procurement, purchasing, and processing of financial

transactions.
2. Demonstrated organisational skills to work with efficiency and effectiveness; to build productive working relationships

and display personal drive and integrity.
3. A good level of interpersonal, oral and written communication skills to communicate with influence.
4. The ability to work under pressure in order to manage multiple demands within a changing environment.
5. Demonstrated computer literacy including word-processing, database use and other office technology skills.
6. A current Northern Territory Driver’s Licence or ability to obtain.
7. An ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultures.

Desirable
1. Knowledge of Northern Territory Government procurement and financial practices or similar.
2. A knowledge and understanding of a customer service environment and protocols.
