About The Role
As an Occupational Therapist at Novita, you'll be responsible for:
* Managing a diverse clinical caseload, including assessment, planning, and delivery of tailored supports
* Collaborating with families, caregivers, and professionals to support integrated, client-centred therapy
* Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, client reviews, and program planning sessions
* Maintaining accurate and timely client records in line with Novita's policies and procedures
* Engaging in ongoing professional development and contributing to knowledge-sharing across the organisation
Skills and Experiences
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
* Ability to apply and evaluate a range of occupational therapy interventions
* Skilled in adapting assessments and interventions to meet individual client needs
* Knowledge of strengths-based and client-centred best practice approaches
* Strong written and verbal communication, including effective report writing
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital record-keeping systems
What You'll Need Before Starting
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
* Current AHPRA registration
* Current Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Driver's License
* First Aid certificate (desirable)
* Strong commitment to client-centred, strengths-based practice
