About the Job
There is an exciting opportunity with the Bay of Isles Leisure Centre for a School Based Trainee in Health and Fitness. The position will provide high quality assistance in the functional area of Health & Fitness whilst completing secondary school and studies in fitness.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Complete study and on the job components to meet qualification requirements for Certificate III in Fitness.
Generally assist and carry out duties as directed by the Supervisor Programs or Team Leader Health & Fitness.
Work collaboratively with the Sport & Recreation Team to continue the development of the safety culture within the Centre.
This is a fixed-term 12 month, part-time position working 8 hours per week.
About you
In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must have:
Ability to work towards completion of the traineeship – Certificate III in Fitness.
Well developed verbal and written communication skills.
Enthusiasm to learn Health & Fitness Skills.
Cash Components
$***** – $***** per hour – dependant on age.
Permanent staff are entitled to:
5 weeks annual leave per year (pro-rated)
Minimum of 12% superannuation employer contribution
Superannuation co-contribution offered to a maximum of 5%
