Product Manager, Trading Solutions – Perth

We're looking for a Product Manager to lead the evolution of our trading solutions and platforms. This role will drive product strategy, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and oversee the delivery of features, enhancements and integrations.

Responsibilities
* Define and execute the product roadmap for trading platforms and tools.
* Identify opportunities for innovation and improvements in trading functionality, automation and user experience.
* Translate stakeholder ideas and requirements into solution designs.
* Lead the development of new trading products and features in partnership with business and technical teams.
* Prioritise the product backlog with software delivery teams.
* Work with Technical Business Analysts and SMEs to contextualise and decompose requirements.
* Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders and testers.
* Lead incident management to resolve issues affecting trading operations.
* Manage relationships with trading‑solution partners and vendors for seamless integration.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation of product features, processes and support procedures.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Build and lead a support team for the trading desk.
* Drive integration and optimisation of IRESS platforms (IOS+, OMS) and collaborate on data‑feeds, FIX connectivity and upgrades.
* Lead complex projects such as back‑office migrations involving IRESS systems.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in trading technology within the financial services – stockbroking industry.
* Strong understanding of trading products and financial markets.
* Excellent stakeholder relationship skills across business and technology teams.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
* Proven experience using trading platforms.
* Hands‑on experience with IRESS systems (IOS+, OMS) – configuration, integration, troubleshooting.
* Experience with FIX protocol and connectivity.
* Experience with alternate trading systems and smart order routers.
* Deep knowledge of the Australian trading environment, including order types, exchanges, regulatory requirements and institutional & retail order flows.
* Proven track record on back‑office migrations with IRESS.
* Large‑scale trading experience across multiple asset classes.
* Self‑sufficient and capable of driving technical solutions independently.
* Deep understanding of Agile and Scrum delivery.
* Ability to lead and collaborate within cross‑functional teams.
