Accounting Role Overview
The San Remo Group is a leading Australian manufacturer with brands including pasta, snacks, and beverages. Our Head Office and main manufacturing are based in Adelaide.
Key Responsibilities
* Financial accounting and reporting.
* Cost and management accounting – prepare and/or review relevant costing and margin analysis.
* Provide timely monthly management reports.
* Year-end financial reporting ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
* Making recommendations/improvements based upon financial analysis and critical thinking.
* Assisting with Finance projects and initiatives.
* Review, update and improve financial accounting processes and procedures.
* Assist with implementing accounting policies and procedures as required.
* Provide relief backup to other accounting staff in the performance of similar duties.
Requirements
* CPA or CA qualifications (or working towards).
* Bachelor of Commerce, or similar.
* 2 – 3 years experience in an accounting position, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Experience in financial accounting and compilation of information for use in decision making.
* Experience using an ERP system (JDE or similar) and/or MYOB.
