We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Human Resources team as an Assistant Director - Human Resources and Safety Services.
Job Description:
This is a critical leadership role within the HR Team, responsible for the effective administration of HR services and management of HR/Work Health and Safety (WHS) systems. The successful candidate will be able to interpret HR policies and relevant legislation, advise on human resource and safety issues, and provide support across the agency relating to people management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading a small team of HR practitioners to deliver high-quality advice to employees on conditions of employment.
* Interpreting and providing accurate, consistent, and timely advice, both verbally and in writing.
* Monitoring workload and prioritizing urgent enquiries and process a high volume of correspondence.
* Delivering HR business improvement projects and maintaining delivery of other team priorities.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge in HR, with a strong reputation as a trusted advisor to Executives and senior leaders. They will leverage their expertise and hands-on approach to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders across multiple disciplines to effectively solve problems.
