The successful candidate will ensure that all matters are acknowledged as a first point of contact and appropriately referred to the relevant officer for timely follow-up and resolution.The Administration and Communication Officer reports to the Manager, Communication Team within the region.About The RoleBe the first point of contact for parents, carers and other community members wishing to enquire about departmental policy and guidelines.Support parents, carers and community members by actively listening, acknowledging their call, accurately recording and referring them to the School Community Liaison Officers within the Metropolitan North Region.Entering information into departmental databases.Responsibilities IncludeProvide exceptional customer service in assisting parents, carers and other community members with their enquiries or concerns.Listen, acknowledge and understand with empathy and compassion, via initial telephone contact with parents, carers, and other community members regarding concerns or complaints.Contribute to the achievement of a positive and effective team and work environment, applying continuous improvement principles and participating in work area goal setting to ensure a strong customer service focus.The Ideal Candidate Will DemonstrateTeamwork, strong organisational skills, attention to detail, customer service and relationship building experience, effective communication skills and proficiency in using databases.Interested?
