Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to lead our bar team and ensure efficient, high-quality beverage service. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, with strong leadership skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction. A Bar Supervisor oversees bar operations, supports staff, and maintains service standards during busy service periods.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and support bar staff to deliver excellent service and guest experiences.
* Prepare, serve and oversee quality beverage service, including cocktails, wines, beers and non-alcoholic drinks.
* Manage bar setup, stock levels, inventory control and regular stocktakes with accuracy.
* Ensure compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) laws and safety regulations.
* Train and mentor team members on service standards, drink preparation and guest interaction.
* Maintain hygiene, cleanliness and presentation standards in bar service areas.
* Assist with rostering, shift coordination and reporting during service periods.
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience in a bar supervisory or senior bartender role in a hospitality environment.
* Proven leadership and customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
* Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
* Strong beverage knowledge including cocktails, wines, spirits and service standards.
* Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
