At iCBR, we are the Territory’s expert on capital infrastructure, and our purpose is to efficiently develop, deliver and maintain infrastructure, places and spaces with our partners, for our community.

Within Infrastructure Canberra, the Delivery – Transport and Civil Infrastructure (T&C) is responsible for the procurement and delivery of Tier 1 and 2 infrastructure projects for the people of Canberra. This includes projects such as the light rail stage 2 program of works, roads infrastructure projects and waste Infrastructure projects. The division also supports partner directorates, including City and Environment Directorate and the City Renewal Authority, in the delivery of Tier 3 projects through provision of procurement and contract management services. Within T&C there are a range of branches who support the delivery of these projects, including the Civil, Transport, Waste Infrastructure and Program Delivery Office.

The Project Support Officer works within the Commercial team in the Delivery – T&C Group, responsible for commercial, financial and procurement aspects of major infrastructure projects. The role includes the preparation of complex written documentation, coordinating and tracking documentation and tasks, providing secretariat functions for committees, and contributing to the development and implemental of internal workstream processes.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Highly Desirable

* Experience working in a project environment; and
* Familiarity with tools and systems used in project management, management of project controls and / or procurement.

Notes: This is a temporary position available from late May 2026 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
