The Role
* Operational process monitoring for compliance with industry standards is required, including systems reviews and project audits.
* Leadership skills are essential in driving Health and Safety initiatives and achieving organizational objectives.
* Providing high-level technical advice and support to stakeholders on various matters.
* Assisting Project Managers and staff on system-related issues such as project planning.
* Implementing uniform systems across the organization, ensuring they comply with industry standards.
* Progress reporting to management on implementation and system performance.
* Leading the way in identifying emerging Health and Safety risks and championing active engagement within the organization.
About You
* A Certified IV qualification and at least 5 years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety are required.
* Background in auditing WHS compliance frameworks, both internal and external.
* Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills to assess WHS effectiveness, monitor learning initiatives, and enhance program delivery.
* Previous government experience is an asset.
