National Human Resource Specialist Job Description
Deliver consultation and support across all areas of Human Resources to ensure effective HR practices in warehousing and distribution functions.
Your primary objectives will be to:
* Complete daily tasks in accordance with internal standard operating procedures and local regulations relating to recruitment, onboarding, offboarding formalities, inductions, employees industrial relations, etc.
* Resolve and respond to employees' enquiries on people-related matters.
* Ensure all employee data and reports are updated timely and accurately.
* Check attendance records before monthly payroll.
* Handle all disciplinary and grievances with necessary documentations.
* Contribute to and support projects, events, functions, etc.
* Actively identify and propose process improvements.
* Support general administration tasks related to office control for working sites, company asset management as required.
* Manage agencies/vendors for people and administration-related tasks in the warehouses.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years in HR, preferably within logistics, warehousing, or supply chain environments.
* Strong understanding of HR processes in a warehouse setting, including workforce management and compliance.
* Expertise in recruitment (especially blue-collar workers), onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
* Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation.
* Familiarity with national labor laws and HR best practices.
* Strong verbal and written communication for engaging with employees and stakeholders.
* Ability to handle employee concerns, disciplinary actions, and HR-related challenges effectively.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing HR initiatives at a national level.
* Ability to identify and implement HR process enhancements for efficiency and effectiveness.
