About the Role
The Senior Finance Manager operates within the Financial Services Unit to deliver management accounting and business partnering services across multiple faculties and divisions through a hub?based model. The role supports informed decision?making by providing consistent financial reporting, planning, forecasting and insights, while contributing to continuous improvement across finance services.
Role responsibilities include:
* Coordinate delivery of management accounting services, including month?end close, reporting, planning and forecasting across assigned portfolios.
* Support stakeholders with timely financial information, analysis and insights to inform strategic and operational decisions.
* Contribute to the development, monitoring and reporting of budgets and financial performance in line with University processes.
* Undertake financial modelling and forecast scenario analysis to support planning and decision?making.
* Contribute to projects that improve the effectiveness, efficiency and standardisation of finance services.
* Support statutory reporting, financial controls, data integrity and compliance obligations.

Experience
* Extensive experience in financial management and/or financial analysis.
* Experience delivering management accounting and business partnering services in a complex environment.
* Experience leading and managing finance teams or specialist professionals.
* Experience supporting organisational change, standardisation or process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Full membership of a recognised professional accounting body (ACA or CPA), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
What We Offer
Base Salary Range: SSG1 plus 17% superannuation (pension)
The position is full time and will be made on a continuing basis.
