Perth Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre (POSM) is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly organised Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team on a permanent part-time basis.
As the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience. This role is ideal for an experienced medical receptionist who thrives in a fast paced specialist environment, enjoys variety and takes pride in providing outstanding service.

About the Role
This position is part-time, working 4 days per week.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
* Welcoming patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism
* Patient check-ins, including Medicare and referral verification
* Managing busy phones and email inboxes, and incoming correspondence
* General reception and administrative duties including scanning, filing, mail handling and data entry
* Opening and closing the practice in accordance with procedures
* Maintaining a high standard of presentation across reception, office, kitchen and shared spaces
* Assisting the Office Supervisor with administrative tasks as required

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a medical or professional reception role
* Exceptional customer service skills and a calm, confident telephone manner
* Experience using Genie or similar medical appointment software
* Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
* The ability to multitask, prioritise and remain composed in a busy environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A reliable, proactive approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Pride in maintaining a well-presented, organised workplace
