Program Manager for Music Festival Content
This role is responsible for curating a diverse range of music festival content. It involves working alongside the Head of Music and Music Programming Executive, and an assessor panel to solicit, research, and obtain artists and speakers for festival consideration.
The Program Manager will develop and maintain relationships with music companies, brands, agencies, advocacy groups, and other industry entities to stay current on music, music tech, and adjacent industry trends within Australia and abroad.
Evaluating public submissions for festival content, staying current on music and adjacent industry trends, working with internal teams to ensure a smooth event experience, and managing on-site delivery of music festival and conference programming are key responsibilities of this role.
A creative, collaborative individual with a music industry background, a deep knowledge of music, and an enthusiasm for identifying new talent and trends is required for this position.
Responsibilities include program planning, artist liaison, marketing, and logistics tasks, which make up a mix of daily activities in this role.
