As a Senior Copywriter for the Australia & New Zealand region, you will shape how Xero speaks to our audience across these key markets.
You will bring ideas to life through words that move people, writing across a wide range of projects including campaign messaging, product updates, and digital content.
Your work ensures every piece of communication feels clear, human, and distinctly Xero.
You will collaborate with designers, strategists, and marketers to translate complex product messages into simple, relatable language, and own the creative and strategic vision to drive engagement and conversion across all channels.
The Team / How They Connect
You will work directly with the regional marketing team on daily creative projects while staying deeply connected to The Hub, Xero's global in-house agency.
This unique position allows you to support local campaigns while ensuring regional insights are shared back to the global team to improve our collective storytelling.
Primary focus areas
Creating and editing copy for regional campaigns and lifecycle journeys to drive customer conversion.
Partnering with The Hub to deliver creative ideas that connect across global markets while respecting regional nuances.
Supporting campaign concepting to bring clarity to ideas that can scale effectively across the business.
Using AI tools to augment and test creative output while maintaining a high standard of craft and brand consistency.

You possess strong prioritisation skills and thrive when managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
A background in tech or SaaS brand storytelling would be highly regarded as you capture our tone across various touchpoints.
You are proactive and resourceful, showing the initiative to elevate everyday work through curious and creative thinking.
