Job Opportunity: Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our workshop team at Joondalup Depot. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for career growth and development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of buses to the highest safety and operational standards, ensuring the delivery of clean, safe, and comfortable transport for the community. Key responsibilities include conducting thorough safety inspections and compliance checks, diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, and performing preventive maintenance to meet roadworthy standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a recognised Australian mechanical trade qualification, demonstrated hands-on experience, and a strong commitment to workplace health and safety standards. You should also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment.
A Medium Rigid (MR) class driver's licence or higher is required, as well as proficiency in basic computer applications and a collaborative approach to work.
