Support Worker: Assisting in Daily Living and Lifestyle Needs
We are looking for a Support Worker to join our team. This role involves travelling between clients' homes, assisting with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centred care and support.
This position requires individuals who are flexible, reliable and able to work independently. You will be required to assist clients with domestic assistance, social support and transportation, and participate in staff meetings and training as needed.
* Domestic assistance may include light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
* Social support/transportation may include accompanying clients to medical appointments, shopping or social activities
Applicants must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to maintain confidentiality and have a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable members of the community.
The successful applicant will have the following qualifications:
* Australian Federal Police Clearance
* Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
* NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
* Smartphone with internet access
