Job Opportunity: Visitor Services Officer
This role requires a highly organized and communicative individual who can effectively support tourism operations by providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and undertaking various administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and be proficient in handling cash and card transactions.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver outstanding customer service by responding to inquiries, offering local information, and promoting the region.
* Process financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and assist with accounts payable and receivable duties.
* Support operational activities including stock ordering, product sales, and maintaining up-to-date local tourism knowledge.
* Contribute to marketing efforts by assisting with material development, website content, and communications.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To succeed in this position, you should have a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, basic arithmetic skills, and proficiency in using standard office equipment. Previous experience in hospitality or retail is advantageous but not essential.
