We're partnering with a technology-driven organisation seeking an experienced System Engineer to strengthen their end-user and workplace technology environment. This role sits at the intersection of hands-on technical support and continuous service improvement, supporting modern collaboration tools, business applications, and device platforms used across the organisation.
You'll play a key role in resolving complex technical issues, improving stability and performance of end-user systems, and helping uplift operational maturity across the support function.
What You'll Be Doing
* Acting as a senior escalation point for complex end-user and application issues
* Supporting and administering modern workplace platforms and collaboration tools
* Managing device environments across desktops, laptops, and mobile platforms
* Contributing to system improvements, automation, and standard operating environments
* Identifying recurring issues and driving root-cause fixes rather than short-term workarounds
* Working closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver reliable outcomes
* Providing guidance and mentoring to junior support staff
What You'll Bring
* Solid experience in a Level 2/3 Systems or End User Engineering role
* Strong hands-on capability across Microsoft-based environments
* Experience with modern device management and deployment tools
* Confidence diagnosing complex technical issues and communicating clearly with stakeholders
* Exposure to structured IT service environments and operational best practice
* A proactive mindset with a focus on improvement, not just incident resolution
