**Civil Engineering Technician**

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing sketches, plans, 3D models and designs for engineering works such as drainage, water supply, sewerage reticulation systems, roads, airports, dams, bridges, and other structures
- Performing all field work as well as data work in the office
- Collecting and analysing data and carrying out computations. The providing clients with the data they require in the format they understand.
- Estimating costs and ensuring finished works are within specifications, regulations, and contract provisions
- Providing clients with fee estimates for specific works
- Understanding of 3D Scanning Engineering works would be preferable, understanding how 3D Scanning works, the data it can provide clients and the registration process
- Understanding of Revit and BIM Modelling
- Inspecting civil engineering works, and organising and supervising maintenance and repair work
Role Requirements:
- Have a minimum of five years' experience within a similar role
- Experience with major engineering and infrastructure projects
- Experience using AutoCAD
- Experience in Cyclone would be advantageous
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Have the ability to problem solve and effectively communicate with clients

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
