About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Principal's Assistant/Administration Officer to join our team at MacKillop Catholic College in Palmerston, Northern Territory. This is a full-time role that will provide high-level administrative and executive support to the College Principal. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the school's administrative operations.
What you'll be doing
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the College Principal, including diary management, managing correspondence, and coordinating meetings and events.
- Handling a diverse range of administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining records.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including parents, staff, and the broader school community.
- Assisting with the coordination of school-wide projects and initiatives.
- Providing general office support and assistance as required.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in an administrative or executive support role, preferably within an educational or similar institutional setting.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
- A high level of attention to detail and confidentiality.
- A commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
