Make a meaningful impact delivering Occupational Therapy across hospital and community settings in the Upper Hunter. Remuneration: $116, 892 - $120, 680 per anum + superannuation Employment Type: Temporary Full Time to February 2027 Position Classification: Occupational Therapist Level 3 Location: Scone Hospital Hours Per Week: 38 Requisition ID: REQ627923 Applications Close: Sunday 18th January 2026 Where you'll be working Based in the welcoming rural town of Scone, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference across both inpatient and community settings. While Scone will be your primary base, you may occasionally be required to provide support at other sites across the district. You will join a friendly and supportive Community Health team, where Allied Health professionals collaborate closely and provide in-reach services to local hospitals and Multi-Purpose Services. This is a diverse Occupational Therapy role providing services to adult inpatients and community clients, including those receiving Palliative Care. About The Role Inpatient Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, interventions, and discharge planningEnsure safe and effective transitions from hospital to home or community Community Responsibilities Support clients to achieve optimal outcomes in home safety, community access, and connection to appropriate community supports. Additional Information An eligibility list will be created for future temporary full or part time vacancies. This position is full time; however, part time/job share arrangements may also be considered. To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia.
