Lee Ho Fook, a 2 hatted restaurant, is currently seeking a Sommelier to join our team.
Lee Ho Fook proudly showcase Australian producers through a deeply personal and creative interpretation of Chinese cuisine, with an Australian wine program that is integral to the dining experience.

About the Role
In this role, you will be required to curate the guest beverage experience. This is a hands-on role, working closely with the Restaurant Manager and Head Chef to deliver a seamless service and profound guest experience. This role is suited to someone who enjoys being on the floor, engaging with guests and leading by example.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Execution of the restaurant's beverage program, with a strong focus on Australian wine, Champagne and emerging Chinese wine.
* Wine list management, stock control and administration.
* Deliver warm, engaging and knowledgeable wine service.
* Deliver consistent, high-quality service with accuracy and composure during busy service periods.
* Support shift supervision and section management.
* Solo supervision of at least one shift per week.
* Work closely with management and the wider team to ensure smooth service.
* Uphold the standards and ethos of Lee Ho Fook.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* A sincere interest in Chinese cuisine and Australian wines
* Exceptional service skills with a strong guest focus
* High attention to detail and presentation
* Experience in fine dining or premium casual restaurants
* Exceptional communication skills
* The ability to perform and lead during high-pressure service periods
* Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with guests and staff
* Strong organisation and time management skills during both preparation and service
* Availability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
