**Duty Manager-Hotel Venue-Regional Western Australia**
We have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced
**Duty Manager** for this busy venue located in regional Western Australia.
This role would suit a 100% hands on manager looking to work as part of a team in a great regional location.
The venue caters to local clientele and hosts numerous functions and events for the local area. This is a multi operational outlet with Hotel accommodation, function rooms, Sports Bar, Bistro bar, TAB and a large restaurant.
The location is a hive of activity with local shopping facilities & numerous local events. Outside of work there are plenty of hotels and restaurants to visit on days off, local tours operating and plenty of places to explore. A great place to meet people and a welcoming local community.
**Package**:
$70,200 salary Neg.
5 day week
Accommodation & Duty Meals Package
Own room within shared staff house (five bedroom)
Assistance with travel
**Duties**:
- Taking responsibility for team work, leading and motivating team members
- Overseeing all departments within the hotel - bar, bistro, reception, sports bar
- Looking after staff breaks
- Make sure the team are fully briefed and trained on any new amended food and drink products, and any promotional activity
- Assist in implementing and driving promotional activities
- Deal with any issues that arise during each shift promptly and professionally, seeking advice from the General Managers where necessary
- Lead by example to ensure that the highest possible levels of customer service are delivered by team members at all times
- Liaise with other departments including kitchen and floor teams in the business to ensure every customer experiences a consistent level of service
- Hands on work in reception - checking guests in/out, reservations, general enquiries etc
- Assist the General Managers as and when necessary to make the business run effectively and efficiently.
- Other duties as required
- Previous experience in a bistro/bar management role
- Experience working in a fast paced bar environment
- Sound knowledge of wine, beers and spirits
- Previous Front Office experience (preferably with RMS)
- Understanding of labour and operating costs
- Availability to work a range of shifts, including day, evening, weekend and Public Holiday shifts
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast paced environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- WA Approved Managers certificate
