About the Role
An opportunity exists for an experienced and driven Credit/Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Credit Team, part of our Finance Division.
Reporting to the Credit Team Leader, you'll use your dealings with Business-to-Business credit experience, liaising with customers and internal stakeholders daily to support the credit management function.
Day-to-day tasks include:
* On-boarding, banking, and credit control through to collections.
* Establish and manage credit accounts.
* Make recommendations based on customer risk profile and spending.
* Liaise with clients and sales team to resolve disputes and escalate overdue debtors to relevant stakeholders when required.
* Reconcile customer accounts, provide reports and manage to stop supply requirements.
There is a requirement to be on-site every day for this role.
About you - Essentials
* Minimum 3-5 years of debt recovery experience within a commercial environment is required.
* Working knowledge of PPSR requirements is essential for this role.
* Excellent communication skills, strong negotiation skills, and problem-solving skills.
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience using credit reporting services such as CreditorWatch is required.
* Working knowledge of SAP, Oracle or similar ERP systems is beneficial but not essential.
