The Role
We are looking for a Full-Time Civil engineer who will be based in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast working 40 hours between Monday and Friday.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in meeting project objectives, ensuring successful delivery in terms of time, cost, and quality.
* Maintain adherence to QA and WHS requirements, ensuring project safety and quality standards are met.
* Assist in creating, reviewing, and administering a diverse range of construction contracts.
* Effectively manage your workload, working both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders through clear communication and collaboration.
* Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience
* A four-year, Washington Accord accredited, Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite and computer literacy.
* Familiarity with roads, earthworks, retaining, and drainage structures.
* Demonstrated understanding of local council and state government standards.
* 3-10 years of experience in a similar role, with experience in project/contract management.
* Previous involvement in local government projects is highly valued.
