What You Will Be Doing
* Installing and maintaining two-way radio systems
* Fault finding and diagnostics on radio and technology systems
* Performing maintenance and repairs on radio equipment
* Carrying out board-level repairs and cable connections
* Utilising RF digital testing equipment (training provided on specific models)
* Ensuring all systems are operating efficiently and safely
Skills and Knowledge Required
* Minimum 3 years experience repairing two-way radio units
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
* High level of proficiency in soldering
* Ability to work in a hands‐on, technical environment
* Strong attention to detail and problem‐solving skills
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Willingness to undertake a practical skills assessment prior to employment
What You Will Need
* Certificate III in Telecommunications or higher
* Valid C Class Drivers Licence
* Open Cablers Licence (preferred)
* Working at Heights (preferred)
* Boom Type EWP Licence 11m or more (preferred)
