About the role

As part of the Strategy and Governance team, this is a varied role that provides support in areas of performance reporting, planning, research, policy, project coordination and management for the WA Museum.

About you

This role will suit someone who has strong attention to detail, fantastic organisational and written communication skills, and who enjoys variety.

You will be conducting activities and preparing information to inform and report on plans, programs, and frameworks including legislative/compliance research, evaluation, reports, and developing submissions. You will therefore be skilled at:

- preparing a range of professional written communications including reports, presentations, progress towards plans, and briefings; delivery of reports to deadlines.
- strong research skills, including translating compliance or legislation into policy practice and information.
- ability to analyse data, to inform decisions or report on progress.
- utilising digital tools to manage and track actions, plans, projects and to create efficiencies.
- proactively reaching out across the organisation and to external stakeholders to source or coordinate information and keep people informed.
- helping others across the business by providing support and understanding in the development of policy, procedures, plans and other corporate documentation.

- Experience in undertaking research, analysis and interpretation of legislation or compliance requirements, data, and collection of relevant information on a range of issues.
- Experience using digital tools to gather, analyse, monitor, prepare, and report on a range of information, and the ability to produce business intelligence relative to the needs of the audience.

Eligibility to Apply

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid Work Visa (for fixed term appointments), or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments) at the time of application.
