Traffic Management Field Compliance & Operations Supervisor (Senior)

The Role:
As Field Compliance & Operations Supervisor, you will provide senior field leadership, compliance assurance, and operational oversight across all CTS traffic management activities throughout Western Australia.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for protecting standards, strengthening field discipline, and ensuring works are delivered safely, professionally, and in full compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
This role is reserved for high-trust leaders and carries authority to direct field outcomes, protect standards, and represent the business on critical projects.

Australian Drivers Licence (Active)
Construction Induction (White-Card)
MRWA Worksite Traffic Management (WTM)
Highly Regarded Qualifications
MRWA Advance Worksite Traffic Management Accreditation.
Truck Mounted Attenuator Operator (OTMA)
Australian Driver's Licence (HR-A/B Class preferred)
Certificate IV in WHS - including relevant courses comprising of BSBWHS411
Drug and Alcohol Testing Training - HLTPAT005 has officially been superseded by HLTPAT010
Current Senior First Aid - HLTAID011
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in traffic management operations. With proven experience leading crews on high-risk sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide senior field leadership across worksites (WA State-wide), setting expectations for safety, professionalism, and performance.
Supervise and mentor Crew Leaders and traffic management teams; uplift and uphold high standards, discipline, and crew capability.
Conduct internal TM compliance audits (TMP/TGS implementation, signage/device placement, PPE, SWMS/JSA adherence) and document findings.
Verify compliance with MRWA requirements, AGTTM, client specifications, and internal policies and procedures.
Identify non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and track close-out through a simple audit/corrective action register.
Act as the escalation point for operational issues, incidents, and compliance concerns; intervene early to prevent failures.
Exercise authority to direct corrective actions (and stand down unsafe works where necessary).
Oversee depot/yard and asset readiness: vehicles, TMAs, sign trailers, devices, stock levels, presentation, and defect reporting discipline.
Support risk management and incident response: high-risk site checks, investigations, preventative actions, toolbox talks.
Maintain strong client-facing professionalism and protect company's reputation through consistent field standards and communication.
Role Requirements:
This role requires a leader who understands that field supervision carries legal and reputational accountability. The successful candidate must be prepared to take ownership of outcomes, protect crews, protect the company, and uphold standards without compromise.
Demontrated field leadership experience - Minimum 3–5 years' experience in traffic management operations.
