Immediate start with impact About Our Client Our client is a large organisation with a sizeable, rostered workforce and a well‑established payroll function. Due to recent system and processing challenges, they are investing in additional payroll support. Job Description Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will support critical payroll processing activities. Responsibilities will be allocated based on your experience and may include: Supporting fortnightly pay runs for approximately 12000 employees Assisting with payroll corrections Processing payroll in Dayforce for a rostered workforce Interpreting awards, EBA conditions and pay rules Assisting with payroll data validation and reconciliation Responding to payroll queries with urgency and accuracy Supporting remediation activities across upcoming pay cycles Working collaboratively with a payroll team of 6-8 members You must be available to start within the next few days and have Dayforce experience - End‑to‑end payroll experience is not essential. The Successful Applicant The successful Payroll Specialist will have: Demonstrated experience using Dayforce Payroll Availability to commence immediately or at short notice Nice to have: Experience working in a rostered or high‑volume payroll environment Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform under pressure Confidence stepping into a business‑critical role Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends Ability to obtain (or already hold) a police check Strong communication skills with a collaborative, team‑focused approach What's on Offer 3 - 4 payroll temp roles available Initial 4‑week contract with potential extension Competitive hourly rates based on experience Parramatta office location Fast‑tracked interview process Opportunity to make a visible, meaningful impact
