Overview
Our Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions (PEMA) practice leverages Marsh’s global expertise to provide specialized services to private equity, infrastructure, and alternative asset clients, as well as corporate buyers. We assist clients throughout the investment lifecycle, advising on risks and insurance matters from acquisition to exit, including portfolio insurance solutions. Our team comprises over 150 professionals worldwide.
Role Responsibilities
* Drive Marsh’s PEMA business in Australia and New Zealand
* Lead insurance due diligence engagements for private equity, corporate, and financial institution clients
* Coordinate services across various Marsh practices to deliver comprehensive solutions
* Mentor and coach junior staff members
* Collaborate with international PEMA professionals
* Develop relationships with private equity firms, law firms, investment banks, and other financial entities to generate new business
* Respond to RFPs
* Stay informed on market conditions and communicate internally
* Coordinate with Marsh practices for insurance placements
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in insurance broking and account management, especially for corporate or global accounts
* Background in Due Diligence roles or client advisory in M&A contexts within insurance broking, FSRA Tier 1 compliance a plus
* Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
* Strong relationship-building skills
* Excellent data analysis, research, report writing, and communication skills
* Proficiency in MS Office applications
