AWH is currently seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance team in the role of Accounts Payable. The Accounts Payable role is a Fixed Term position with the potential for ongoing work, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of financial processes within our organisation. Working in Accounts Payable, your main responsibilities will include:
* Processing invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Managing payment runs and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure prompt settlement of accounts.
* Assisting with month-end closing activities, including accruals and prepayments related to accounts payable.
* Contributing to process improvements within the accounts payable function, striving for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
* Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments, addressing queries and providing support as required.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
* Prior experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy in all tasks undertaken.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling seamless collaboration with colleagues and external stakeholders.
* The ability to manage competing priorities effectively, demonstrating excellent organisational skills.
