EEHA Electricians – FIFO 2:1 – Renewable Energy Project (Karratha, WA)
We’re looking for A-Grade Hazardous Area Electricians to join a renewable energy project in Karratha. This is a FIFO role from Perth on a 2:1 roster.
What’s on Offer:
- $80/hr flat rate – weekly pay
- 2:1 roster | 11-hour shifts
- Flights (from Perth only), accommodation, meals, and PPE provided
- 6+ months of work, option to transfer to another project upon completion
Requirements:
- WA A-Grade Electrical Licence
- EEHA Certification
- White Card
- LVR/CPR (within 2 years)
- Able to complete medical & drug/alcohol screening
- Available to mobilise ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and maintain electrical equipment in hazardous areas (EEHA) in accordance with AS/NZS 60079 standards.
- Perform cable terminations, glanding, and testing on PV systems.
- Test and tag electrical components, including inverters, isolators, and junction/combiner boxes.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, layout drawings, and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
- Troubleshoot and repair low-voltage AC/DC systems.
- Follow all WHS procedures and maintain a robust focus on safety.
