Description:
Are you ready to be the local face of a major fuel and lubricant distributor, to build our presence in Far North QLD?
We’re seeking a passionate and driven Sales Manager to join our team. This role offers autonomy, regional impact, and the opportunity to make a real difference in both customer relationships and business growth.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you'll take ownership of a diverse customer portfolio across Far North QLD. Your focus will be a balance of retaining existing clients and driving new business development across your territory.

Key responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, delivering tailored solutions that meet their needs.
Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio while actively identifying and converting new business opportunities.
Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools to plan, track, and achieve sales targets.
Prepare quotes for customers and assist with tender submissions for larger opportunities.
Proactively promote lubricant products as part of the depot’s broader sales offering.
Manage safety, credit, and contractual risks in line with company policies and procedures.
Deliver results against key KPIs including operating margin, sales volume, and customer growth while contributing to ongoing sales training and development
Ideally you will have:
Current C Class Drivers Licence (minimum requirement).
Minimum 5 years B2B sales experience in the fuel industry or a related sector such as transport or logistics, ideally with a technical sales background.
Strong business development capability with proven experience prospecting, building a sales pipeline, and managing SME and larger regional or national accounts.
Solid business acumen with the ability to manage budgets and deliver results against monthly, quarterly and annual KPI targets.
Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of fuel products, lubricants and fuel storage solutions is highly desirable.
Ability to travel across Far North Queensland, including regular overnight stays, and build strong working relationships with customers and regional depot teams.
