Our company has over 25 years' experience in the shop fitout industry specialising in the full-service delivery of restaurant, cafes and retail stores. We are looking for someone with experience in the design or construction industries to join our busy team.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
* Work alongside project managers and provide project coordination & assistance as required to procure interior fitouts
* Obtain & compare quotes from suppliers & different trades
* Assist in the preparation of construction programmes (Microsoft Project)
* Manage all aspects of projects alongside project managers; from project planning through to project delivery, installation and client follow up
* Ability to manage several projects concurrently
* Site visits, co-ordinate and schedule installations and ensure work is carried out to the highest quality
* Liaise with different trades (ie. plumbers/electricians/painters)
* Prepare pre-start documents for each site, council documents and permits as required
* Liase with various stakeholders including architects, interior designers, shopping centre
* This role provides a great foundation of skills leading towards a role in Project Management
Preferable
* Excellent verbal & written communication skills is a must
* Ability to work well within a team
* 1 - 3 years plus experience in the Australian design/construction industry preferred
* Experience in reading architectural drawings (Required)
Job Types: Contract, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
