Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their needs and develop individualized intervention plans.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
* Trial and prescribe equipment relevant to client needs and goals.
* Provide education sessions to staff and community members on various topics related to occupational therapy.
Requirements:
* Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
* Experience working with older adults, frailty, or complex physical health needs, including dementia and Parkinson's disease.
* Expertise in risk assessment, mobility aids, pain management, and safe, person-centered practices.
