St Brendan's Catholic Primary School, Lake Munmorah is currently seeking an energetic and passionate Aboriginal Education Worker.
The successful candidate will be suitably qualified and enjoy working in a dynamic and cohesive team.
This is for a temporary part-time role (40 hours per fortnight) to start on 27 January **** and will be for the whole of **** school year.
During this engagement, the successful candidate will be required to work on Wednesday and Thursday of every week.

Specific Criteria Appreciation of the Catholic Faith and Aboriginal spirituality Understanding of and sensitivity to the learning needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students Capacity to work in partnership with classroom teachers Capacity to support contemporary teaching and learning across the curriculum Knowledge of contemporary Aboriginal education programs Ability to work as part of a team to support Aboriginal students Skills to develop partnerships with the local Aboriginal community Communication and administrative skills associated with the position Highly developed interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with families and communities to support Aboriginal student learning.
Current drivers' licence is essential It is a genuine occupational requirement that the position be filled by a person of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.
