Women's Health Unit Midwife Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated midwife to join our team in the Women's Health Unit. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to women and their families throughout their pregnancy journey.
About the Role

Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert midwifery care to women and their families in the antenatal and postnatal periods
* Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and excellent patient outcomes
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to evidence-based practice
* Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and education
* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives
Requirements
* CURRENT REGISTRATION WITH AHPRA AS A REGISTERED MIDWIFE
* MINIMUM OF THREE YEARS' RELEVANT POST-REGISTRATION QUALIFICATIONS
* DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE PROVISION OF ANTE-NATAL AND POST-NATAL MIDWIFERY SERVICES
* DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE AND APPLICATION OF QUALITY IMPROVEMENT INITIATIVES USING RESEARCH PRINCIPLES TO SUPPORT EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICE, INCLUDING DEVELOPMENT OF POLICIES AND GUIDELINES
* DEMONSTRATED ABILITY TO WORK EFFECTIVELY IN A SUPPORTIVE TEAM
* DEMONSTRATED ABILITY TO ADVOCATE FOR AND IMPLEMENT INDIVIDUALISED PATIENT-CENTRED CARE;
* DEMONSTRATED PROFESSIONAL MANNER WHEN WORKING WITH COMPLEX SITUATIONS;
* ADVANCED COMMUNICATION SKILLS AS PART OF A MULTI-DISCIPLINARY TEAM WITH A WILLINGNESS TO LEARN NEW SKILLS;
* FLEXIBILITY TO WORK A SEVEN-DAY ROSTER INCLUDING NIGHT DUTY;
* IBCLC (LACTATION) CERTIFICATE OR WORKING TOWARDS.
* EXPERIENCE IN PRIVATE HEALTH CARE
