*Your role:* Join a growing team servicing and maintaining advanced Rosenbauer fire trucks and equipment across Western Australia, along with our fleet of hire vehicles. With full training and ongoing support, this role offers a strong career pathway with an industry leader.
You'll combine technical expertise with customer interaction to deliver high‑quality service to a wide range of stakeholders. The position is based at our Naval Base workshop and includes site visits and breakdown call‑outs to both remote WA & NT locations.
Reporting to the Equipment and Asset Services Manager, you will undertake the following:
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Service & Maintenance: Perform routine servicing and maintenance on Rosenbauer fire trucks and firefighting equipment throughout WA & NT.
* Diagnostics & Repair: Diagnose, service, and repair electrical systems, hydraulics, valves, and a variety of pumps.
* Field Operations: Conduct both workshop and field-based service operations, responding to client needs on-site.
* Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently.
* Hydraulic Maintenance: Repair and maintain hydraulic components of diesel and petrol engines used to power attachments.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, service, and repairs.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with the wider team to ensure timely service and exceptional client satisfaction.
* Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards and procedures during service operations.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
* Mechanical and technical aptitude with required certificates
* Experience with Hydraulic systems, pumps, electrical systems and wide range of vehicle service history
* Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
* Ability to work independently in the field and as part of a team.
* A willingness to learn and undergo full training on Rosenbauer fire trucks and equipment.
* Good communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
* A valid HR driver's license
