We are seeking a Senior Technician (Modeller / Drafter) to support our Rail & Transit Digital Engineering team.
* This role will lead the development and delivery of high-quality digital documentation for major infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on bridge and structural design.
* The successful candidate will be capable of working independently, managing their workload and delivering to project timeframes, while also providing technical leadership and guidance to both local and offshore delivery teams.
* They will work closely with multidisciplinary design teams, supporting the coordination, integration, and federation of models and digital information to ensure consistent and coordinated project outcomes.
* They will also play a key role in maintaining compliance with standards, improving workflows, and ensuring consistency and quality across project deliverables.
Qualifications
The qualities that help you thrive
* 10+ years' experience in transport and rail infrastructure projects including civil, electrical HV (including OHW), structural.
* Strong drafting capability covering a variety of software: AutoCAD, Revit and MicroStation drafting.
* Ability to work independently and lead / mentor local and offshore teams
* Proven ability to manage workload and deliver to project timeframes
* Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
* Experience working within TfNSW standards (highly regarded).
* Strong understanding of project setup, model governance, and DE workflows.
* Ability to implement Quality Assurance processes.
