Job Opportunity: Construction Project Supervisor
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects.
About the Role:
The Construction Project Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects, including site supervision, project coordination, and quality control. You will work closely with our team's estimators, project coordinators, contractors/suppliers, and key stakeholders to deliver high-quality results and meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide input into repair methodologies for each site-based project
* Organize and schedule allocated projects to ensure timely completion
* Maintain strong focus on client service level requirements and delivery time frames
* Liaise with all stakeholders to provide regular updates and progress reports
* Chair site meetings and circulate minutes to keep everyone informed
* Engage trades and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
* Forecast monthly revenue according to project completion dates
* Prepare schedules and ensure adherence to project timelines
* Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure high standards are met
* Adhere to WH&S standards and best practices
* Provide exceptional client liaison services and manage budgets to deliver quality outcomes
* Collaborate with Procurement to onboard and manage subcontractors and suppliers
Requirements:
* Certificate III Carpentry and Building or equivalent qualification
* Minimum five years working experience as a Site Supervisor / Foreman under a licensed builder, managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Experience in both domestic and commercial construction projects
* Able to accurately read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
* Proficient in the Microsoft suite of applications
* High attention to detail with excellent communication skills
