Icon Projects is a premium residential builder delivering architecturally designed homes across the Illawarra and South Coast. We're looking for a motivated 1st Year Apprentice Carpenter to join our close-knit team and develop their skills on-site with high-end residential builds.
About the Role
You will work alongside qualified trades and site supervisors, gaining hands-on experience across all stages of construction — from framing and fix-out to detailed finishes. You will learn the craft of quality carpentry while contributing to a team that values precision, pride, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in general carpentry and site preparation tasks
* Read and interpret plans under supervision
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite
* Work closely with foremans, carpenters and project coordinators
* Follow all WHS procedures and contribute to a safety-first culture
About You
* Genuine interest in carpentry and residential construction
* Punctual, hardworking and eager to learn
* Must hold a manual driver's licence and have own reliable transport
* White Card required (or willingness to obtain)
* Pre-apprenticeship or basic carpentry experience preferred but not essential
